Abby Simpson

Abby Simpson has a diverse work experience that includes various roles in different companies. Abby started their career in 2015 as an Inclusion Aide and Day Camp Counselor at Western DuPage Special Recreation Association (WDSRA), where they communicated with parents, monitored children's activities, and encouraged understanding and patience. Abby then worked as a Sales Associate at Nordstrom in 2017, providing excellent customer service and exceeding sales goals. In 2018, they had an internship at Best Buddies, where they supported the leadership team, distributed promotional material, and attended a leadership conference. Abby also worked as a Server at Klien Creek Golf Course in 2018. In 2019, they became an Event Specialist at Maui Jim Sunglasses, coordinating and traveling to sponsored events, generating sales, and managing inventory. Abby also worked as a Sponsorship Sales Executive at marcus evans Group during that time. In 2021, they joined Anne's Haven as a Development Coordinator, planning and implementing fundraising events, conducting prospect research, and managing external communications. Currently, Abby works at Best Buddies International, starting as a Program Manager and later becoming a Lead Program Manager.

Abby Simpson obtained a Bachelor's degree in Interpersonal Communication from Illinois State University, where they also pursued a minor in Sociology. Their education at Illinois State University spanned from 2015 to 2019.
