Chemu Lang

Chemu Langat serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Best Buy Health, overseeing operations, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and supply chain expansion since June 2021. Previously, Chemu held various leadership roles at Medtronic from January 2012 to June 2021, including Regional Head for Africa, where efforts focused on digital health ventures and chronic disease management. Chemu’s earlier career encompassed significant contributions to safety and reliability engineering at NASA and biomedical engineering roles at Medtronic. Education includes an Executive MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management, a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and Assistive Technology from Hampshire College.
