Rachael Wallace

R&D Manager, Innovations at Best Formulations

Rachael Wallace has a wealth of work experience in the field of product development and commercialization. Rachael began their career in 2005 as a Daycare Associate at the Jewish Community Center, followed by a role as a Volunteer Lab Assistant at the University of Utah in 2007. In 2008, they became a Lab Technician at the University of Utah's DNA/Peptides Cores Facility. In 2011, they transitioned to a Research Associate I role at BioFire Diagnostics, Inc. In 2013, they became a Research Associate at 4Life Research. In 2014, they took on the role of Formulator at ProCaps Laboratories, where they were responsible for developing new products in current dosage and developing new dosage form formulations/product concepts. In 2018, they joined Best Formulations, where they held the roles of R&D Manager, Innovations; Principle Scientist, Innovations & Business Development; Senior R&D Technologist; and R&D Technologist. In these roles, they were responsible for all aspects of product development and commercialization-related activities, managing and training a team of two laboratory technicians, assisting and consulting in the development of new processes and procedures for Gummy Production on manufacturing scale, budgeting, assisting in design/layout, set up and organization of new R&D gummy lab facilities, preparing samples for taste testing, customer approval, and packaging fill tests, and providing technical support and collaboration with multiple departments.

Rachael Wallace obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Chemistry from the University of Utah between 2006 and 2010. Prior to that, they obtained their High School Diploma from Judge Memorial Catholic High School between 2002 and 2006.
