Candi MacIel

Candi Maciel has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Candi started their career as a Student Life Assistant at Vanguard University in 2005. Candi then worked as a Marketing Coordinator at The Planning Center from 2006 to 2011.

In 2011, Candi joined Best Friends Animal Society, where they held multiple positions over the years. Candi started as an Events Specialist, responsible for organizing and producing national events. Candi then served as the Foster Program Coordinator, managing a foster program and coordinating communication with various stakeholders. Candi subsequently became the Outreach Manager in Los Angeles and later took on the role of NKLA Manager. Candi then progressed to the position of Manager, Corporate Engagement, where they oversaw workplace campaigns and employee volunteering. Recently, they served as the Senior Manager, Corporate Relations, before being promoted to their current role as the Director of Corporate Partnerships. In this role, they lead a team and is responsible for building and stewarding corporate giving across the nation, along with strategic planning, partnership management, and business development.

From 2001 to 2005, Candi Maciel attended Vanguard University of Southern California, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies. Candi'sfield of study focused on PR, Public Speaking, and Marketing.
