Janet Hammill has a vast work experience spanning across multiple companies and roles. In 2002, they began their career at Rohm and Haas Company as a Business Process Excellence Lead. Janet Hammill holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Chemical Engineering, which they obtained from Carnegie Mellon University from 1978 to 1980. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career, including the authorship of a chapter on Continuous Improvement from McGraw Hill in 2022. Janet also holds the certifications of Lean Change Agent Explorer from the Lean Change Management Association in 2019, Scrum Master Certified (SMC) and Scrum Product Owner Certified (SPOC) from Scrum.org in 2019. Other certifications include Chevron Project Development and Execution Processes (CPDEP) and Operational Excellence (OE) certifications from Chevron in 2014, Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt from Dow in 2010, Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt from Smarter Solutions, Inc. in 2000, and Six Sigma Belt from GE Plastics (now Sabic Innovative Plastics) in 1999.
