Rajesh Gagrani

Rajesh Gagrani has an extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Rajesh is currently serving as the Chief Financial and Commercial Officer at BEST VALUE CHEM PVT LTD, a position they assumed in February 2022. Prior to that, from 2018 to 2022, they held the role of Sr. Vice President Finance and Div. CFO India and SAARC at KALPATARU POWER TRANSMISSION LIMITED.

Before joining KALPATARU POWER TRANSMISSION LIMITED, Rajesh worked at Hitachi as the Vice President and CFO, where they were responsible for various finance-related activities, including finance, accounting, reporting, taxation, internal control, treasury, commercial functions, IT, and capex. Rajesh also had oversight responsibility for legal, compliance, and secretarial activities.

From 2007 to 2013, Rajesh served as AVP-Finance at ABB, focusing on business controlling, strategic participation in new product, customer, market, and investment decisions, and being part of the business purchase negotiation team.

Earlier in their career, Rajesh worked as a Project Controller at Alstom and as a Finance Manager at Phillips Carbon Black Limited. Rajesh began their professional journey as an Assistant Manager at Atul Limited.

Rajesh Gagrani obtained a Chartered Accountant degree from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India between 1996 and 1999. Additionally, they pursued a certification course in Forex and Risk management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. Rajesh also completed a certification course in Private equity and venture capital from Università Bocconi. Rajesh also attended the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad for the SMP08 21-22 program, focusing on business strategy, operations, and management.
