Harold Dibler

VP, Technology Management at Best Western

Harold Dibler is the vice president of Technology Management for Best Western® Hotels & Resorts, overseeing the critical technology areas of application development and delivery, enterprise architecture, and infrastructure and operations. He has over 30 years of application development and systems integration experience in education, manufacturing, financial and hospitality industries.

Dibler began his career after receiving an Associates of Arts degree in Computer Programming. He joined Best Western in 1998. As the manager of Business Applications, Dibler directed the design and development of applications utilizing life cycle methodology and evaluated, recommended and selected application systems.

In 2002, Dibler was promoted to managing director of Business Technology. In that role, he was responsible for software architecture, development and integration. Dibler was also instrumental in the adoption and implementation of several critical business services utilizing XML and OpenTravel standards.

Prior to working for Best Western, Dibler held several senior positions in Information Services, including vice president of MIS and Client Services for FM Service Corporation as well as director of MIS for Fujitsu Business Communication Systems and General Telephone and Electric (GTE).
