Gregory Hutteger

Chief Medical Information Officer at Nebraska Methodist Health System

Gregory Hutteger, DO, joined Nebraska Methodist Health System as a family medicine physician for Methodist Physicians Clinic in September 2006. For the past five years he has also served as medical director of informatics. In July 2015, he was appointed to the role of chief medical information officer for the health system. As chief medical information officer, Dr. Hutteger will work with informatics, analyst, staff, and physicians to implement and improve the electronic health record throughout Methodist Health System. Board-certified in family medicine, Dr. Hutteger continues to care for patients at the Methodist Physicians Clinic Regency clinic location as well as Methodist Hospital. Raised in Cape Girardeau, Mo., Dr. Hutteger and his wife have three children. He attended medical school at A.T. Still University Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (Kirksville, Mo.), prior to completing his family medicine residency in Michigan.
