Tim Ranney is Chief Financial officer at BestEx Research. Beginning his career with S&P Global, Tim also worked for Citibank and McGraw-Hill before becoming a founder and CFO of Environmental Data Resources in Southport, CT. He has served as Chief Financial Officer and held senior management positions with start-ups, turnarounds, and rapidly growing companies in the fields of healthcare, publishing, supply chain management, and telecommunications. Tim later worked with the American Red Cross in Washington, D.C. developing simulation models currently used to forecast resource requirements for rapid deployment during national disasters, including hurricanes Isaac and Sandy, and was the principal systems architect of the RC View technology platform Currently used for national disaster management. He also served as a member of the National Disaster Advisory Council and Process Governance Board. In 2013, he was appointed by the Governor of New Hampshire to the New Hampshire Commission on Innovation, Efficiency, and Transparency.
Tim has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Investments from The George Washington University, Washington, D.C. as well as an MBA in Finance and Banking from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio.
