Lena Battan

Lena Battan has had extensive work experience in various roles related to human resources, people management, and strategic advisory. LENA is currently the Chief People Officer at Bestomer and a Venture Partner at Purpose Built. Lena previously founded Reforza, LLC and worked as a strategic advisor at TechTown powered by Prosper Portland. LENA has also held leadership positions such as Chief People Officer at Sameday Health and VP of People at Community.com. Lena's experience includes overseeing HR operations, developing people strategies, managing talent acquisition, and advising on workforce initiatives. LENA has a successful track record of supporting growth and attracting top talent in fast-paced tech environments. Additionally, Lena has demonstrated their expertise in healthcare workforce improvement through their role as a Workforce Committee Advisor at the Oregon Health Authority.

LENA BATTAN is currently a candidate pursuing an Executive Doctorate of Business Administration (EDBA) at Pepperdine Graziadio Business School from 2021 to 2024. Previously, LENA BATTAN obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management with a focus on Finance from Pacific University. Additionally, LENA BATTAN holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Oregon State University. LENA BATTAN has also obtained certifications, including Graduate and Professional Schools - Business, Law and Public Policy Students Human Subjects Training from CITI Program and a Certificate of Gerontology from Oregon State University in 2009.
