Chris Laia

Chris Laia has an extensive legal background, serving as the General Counsel for Bestow and RedCrow Equity Crowdfunding. Chris also held various legal positions at USAA, overseeing legal support for multiple lines of business. In addition, Chris worked as the General Counsel and Partner at Brown Advisory and served at Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown and Alex Brown and Sons in compliance and legal roles. Chris's experience also includes working at the United States Securities and Exchange Commission as a Branch Chief and Senior Attorney. Chris holds a Master of Laws from Tulane University Law School, a Juris Doctor from Willamette University College of Law, and a Bachelor's Degree from Stony Brook University.
