Varun Kashiva

Varun Kashiva has a diverse work experience in the fashion industry. Varun began their career as a Merchandiser at Permeshwar Fashion Impex in 2010. Varun then moved on to work for VERO MODA as a Product Development Executive from July 2011 to August 2012, and later as a Buyer for Light Woven & Outerwear from August 2012 to August 2014.

Varun joined BESTSELLER in September 2014 as a Supply Chain Project Manager for VERO MODA, where they focused on strategic sourcing, supplier management, and implementing new procedures. Varun also participated in IT projects and played a key role in implementing a sustainability strategy for the brand. After serving in this role for four years, they were promoted to Sourcing Manager for VERO MODA in November 2018. In this role, they led the sourcing team and successfully delivered sustainable material projects and logistics projects that resulted in cost reductions and improved transparency in the supply chain. Varun also worked on building a solid supplier base for the brand.

Varun is currently working at BESTSELLER as the Head of TECH - Buying, Sourcing & Product Development - BESTSELLER TECH, a position they started in May 2021. In this role, they lead the TECH Buying and TECH Sourcing teams and is responsible for guiding them through agile project management. Varun has created a detailed Tech product vision plan and is focused on enhancing material management, digital product ID, product traceability, and transitioning the PLM & ERP system.

In addition to their work in the fashion industry, Varun also had a brief stint as a Global talent at UNLEASH in 2017, where they participated in an Innovation lab for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Varun Kashiva began their education at St. Mary's High School in Mt. Abu. However, the exact years of their attendance are not provided.
