Zhifeng Shi

Zhifeng Shi has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Zhifeng currently holds the position of Director of Software Engineering at Prophet Exchange since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Compass from 2018 to 2022, where they held various roles such as Staff Engineer, Senior Backend Engineer II, and Senior Backend Engineer I. Zhifeng'sresponsibilities at Compass included designing and implementing address correction processes, building microservices to provide financial information to clients, and ensuring smooth integration of the Compass deal management service.

Before joining Compass, Zhifeng worked at 1010data from 2013 to 2018. Zhifeng served as a Senior Software Development Engineer, Senior Developer, and Developer during their time there. Zhifeng'sresponsibilities included developing and optimizing database management systems, mentoring interns, and automating data extraction and processing processes.

Zhifeng began their career as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the College of William and Mary, where they worked from 2008 to 2013.

Zhifeng Shi's education history begins in 2004 when they enrolled at Nanjing University. They completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics in 2008. In the same year, Shi joined William & Mary and pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Physics, which was completed in 2010. Shi continued their academic journey at William & Mary and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Physics in 2013.
