Hezi Pat has extensive work experience in the aviation industry. Hezi started their career in 1976 as an Engine Manager in the Israeli Air Force, where they worked until 1983. In 2002, they joined Bet Shemesh Engines Ltd. as the Head of Turboshaft and Turbo Prop Engine Branch. In this role, they managed the departments responsible for the repair and overhaul of helicopter and airplane engines, including the Allison 250 T700 PT6A. Hezi also provided customer support during their time with the company.

Hezi Pat has a diverse and extensive education history in the field of aviation and engine maintenance. In 1972, they attended Holtz Aviation High School and High School of Aviation Professions, where they focused on studying jet engines. In 1979, they attended the Allison Training School, where they gained expertise in maintaining and operating the Allison 250-C20/C20B gas turbine engine. In 1992, they attended NAC, specializing in the overhaul and testing of the Model 250 series II & IV engine. In 2000, Hezi Pat attended the Rolls Royce Training School, where they received training in heavy maintenance of the RR 250 C20 engine family, specifically turbo-shaft engine maintenance. In 2008, they underwent on-the-job training familiarization in heavy maintenance and overhaul of PT6A-27/34 and PT6A-40 series engines at EADS SECA in France. Also in 2008, they completed courses at ELINA - TECHNOLOGIES focused on basic balancing theory and practice. Finally, in 2014, Hezi Pat attended BET SHEMESH ENGINES LTD, specializing in PT6A large series turboprop engine maintenance, heavy maintenance, and overhaul.
