David Brunel is a Senior Design Engineer at BETA TECHNOLOGIES since February 2022, bringing extensive experience in aircraft design and engineering. Previously, Brunel served as a Design Engineer at Bell Flight, focusing on the Nexus drone and APT70 drone projects, as well as holding various engineering positions at Bombardier, including roles in the design of the Global 7500 and CSeries aircraft. Earlier experience includes significant contributions to composite structures at Bell Helicopter and Boeing Commercial Airplanes. Brunel holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from Polytechnique Montréal, obtained between 1989 and 1993.
