Nicole began their career in 2004 as a Copyeditor/Proofreader at PennGood & Associates, LLP, where they provided writing and editorial support to social marketing materials and communications. In 2011, they became a Senior Editor at Acentia and Visionary Consulting Partners, LLC, where they edited internal and external correspondence in support of DoD, Military Health System, and DHA to verify conformance with DoD/DHA regulations, procedures, and writing style/standards. In 2014, they took on the role of Project Manager/Senior Technical Writer/Editor at VersaTech Inc., where they managed the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Publication System Office and team. In 2018, they became a Project Manager/Senior Technical Editor/Writer at FedWriters, where they supported contracts with Office of Inspector General, Department of Health and Human Services; Justice Prisoner and Alien Transportation System; U. S. Department of Agriculture; Naval Surface Warfare Center, and Army War College. In 2020, they became a Senior Technical Writer at Veterans Healthcare, where they provided writing and editorial support for veterans' healthcare communications materials and products. Nicole also became a Senior Writer/Editor & Content Task Lead at BETAH Associates, Inc., where they supported high profile, federal clients with strategic and health communications planning and public health communications projects. Finally, they also became a Project Manager/Technical Writer at ECS, where they managed a technical writing team within a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) contract.

Nicole Creecy attended Spelman College from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature. Nicole then attended Howard University Graduate School from 2004 to 2007, studying English Language and Literature.
