Peter Okunade - CITLS.

Peter Okunade has a vast work experience in logistics and operations management. Peter worked as a Manager at SimpleMarket Inc. where they were responsible for overseeing logistics and operations. Prior to that, they worked at Jumia Group as a Project Manager, where they managed cross-border logistics and operations across various African countries. Peter implemented cost optimization projects and ensured compliance with company KPIs. Peter also monitored logistics partner performance and standardized operations processes.

Before that, Peter worked at Jumia Nigeria as a Leader in Global Logistics and Operations. Peter set up processes for international logistics, managed cross-country operations, and digitized document management for import and logistic operations. Peter also served as a Client Relationship Manager for one of the company's major clients, improving operational processes and managing a team.

Peter also worked as a Category Manager at Adibba.com.

Peter Okunade attended Obafemi Awolowo University from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Demography and Social Statistics. In addition to their degree, Peter holds certifications including being a Full Member of the African Centre for Supply Chain and being a Certified International Trade Logistics Specialist (CITLS) from the International Import and Export Institute.
