Mark Smith

Mark Smith has a diverse work experience in the trading industry. Mark is currently working as the Trading Director at BetConstruct since 2019. Prior to that, they were with Sportradar from 2016 to 2019, where they held the position of Trading Manager for the Managed Trading Services department. Mark also served as a Risk Analyst at Sportradar for a brief period in 2016. Before joining Sportradar, Mark was the Trading Director at Star Spreads from 2012 to 2015. Mark started their career at IG in 2001, where they worked as a Sports Trader until 2009 and then as the Deputy Head of Trading from 2009 to 2011.

Mark Smith attended Brighton College from 1985 to 1992, where they completed their A-Levels in History, Geography, and Economics. Following this, they enrolled at Brunel University London from 1992 to 1995 and obtained a degree in Sports Science and Business Studies, earning a 2.1 classification.
