Liza Tijerina has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Liza currently works at Betenbough Companies, starting as an Administrative Assistant in January 2021. Liza then progressed through various roles, including Section Coordinator, Academic Advisor, Recruiting & Marketing Supervisor, and Associate Director in the Recruitment & Student Affairs department at TTUHSC School of Health Professions from 2011 to 2018. Following this, they became the Director of Recruitment & Student Affairs at the same institution from December 2018 to July 2021. Liza also worked as a Relief Staff Supervisor at West Texas Boys Ranch from September 2009 to January 2011. Finally, they returned to Betenbough Companies as an Employee Experience Specialist from July 2021 to November 2021 and was subsequently promoted to Employee Experience Manager from November 2021 to October 2022. Liza is currently serving as the Employee Support Manager at Betenbough Companies.

Liza Tijerina earned their BAS degree in Human Services from Wayland Baptist University from 2010 to 2012. Subsequently, they pursued their MS degree in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies at Texas Tech University from 2014 to 2017.
