Walter Cunningham

Walter Cunningham is a board member and executive director at Betenbough Companies. Walter has also served as IT operations supervisor at Betenbough Homes, senior vice president and chief retail officer at Golden 1 Credit Union, and vice president of business development at Cornerstone in Lubbock, Texas.

Cunningham began their career in banking as an accounting analyst and technology operations manager at First Security Bank. Walter then spent two years as data processing operations manager at The Bank of New Mexico before joining Mt. Rainier National Bank as systems administrator and project manager. In 2000, they moved to Pacific Northwest Bank as AVP of technical services and application development manager.

In 2004, Cunningham joined WSECU as senior vice president of digital services. Walter held this position for ten years before moving to Golden 1 Credit Union as senior vice president and chief retail officer. After a year in this role, they transitioned to Betenbough Homes as IT operations supervisor. Walter has been with Betenbough Companies since 2015 and currently serves as a board member and executive director.

Walter Cunningham has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and is certified as a Six Sigma Green Belt & Lean/DFSS from Aveta Business Solutions. Walter is also certified as an Unstoppable Cultures Certified Fellow.
