Joan Spiegel

Joan Spiegel is an accomplished medical professional with extensive experience in anesthesia and critical care. Currently serving as the Director of the Preoperative Testing Clinic at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center since May 2002 and holding the title of Assistant Professor in Anesthesia and Critical Care at Harvard Medical School, Joan has made significant contributions to medical education, including serving as Course Director for "Emergency Airway Management: Percutaneous Needle Cricothyrotomy." Additionally, Joan has been involved in innovative projects, such as inventing a novel syringe for endotracheal cuff pressure measurement and lecturing on advanced medical devices.
