Chris Mahlstedt

Chris Mahlstedt is a seasoned lighting designer with extensive experience in concert lighting, event production, and private event services. Currently serving as the Touring Lighting Designer for Preservation Hall Jazz Band since October 2019, Chris also holds positions as a lighting designer for Civic Theatre, Bethany Church LA, and the Joy Theater, among others. In addition, Chris runs Little Machine Productions, providing freelance video and photography services focused on concerts and events. With a background that includes roles with Tipitina's and House of Blues Entertainment, as well as a degree in Music from the University of New Orleans, Chris Mahlstedt combines artistic vision with technical expertise in the field of lighting design.
