Andrew Roerig

Andrew Roerig is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in system engineering and administration, primarily focusing on Linux and UNIX environments. Currently serving as a Senior Systems Engineer at Be The Match since September 2013, Andrew supports the DevOps/Cloud team utilizing AWS, Terraform, GitLab, and Kubernetes. Previous roles at Be The Match include Senior Linux Systems Engineer and Unix/Linux Systems Engineer, where responsibilities included deploying and maintaining Linux compute environments and managing resources in AWS. Andrew's background also includes positions as a UNIX System Administrator at TEKsystems and UNIX Engineer at FICO, where significant skills were developed in troubleshooting and operations. Prior to their technical career, Andrew held various managerial roles at Target. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Augsburg University and an Associate’s degree in Computer Science from Century Community and Technical College.
