Jungmin Yean

Jungmin Yean's work experience includes:

- Acting as an Undergraduate Research Mentee at the Prabhakaran-Holl Lab at UChicago Medicine from 2023 to present.

- Serving as an Undergraduate Fellow at The Center for Health and the Social Sciences (CHeSS) at UChicago Medicine from 2023 to present.

- Working as a Clinical Research Assistant for The Hospitalist Project @UCM starting in 2023.

- Holding various leadership positions at Chi Omega Xi Chapter, including President from 2023 to present, Director of Programming from 2023 to 2023, and Social Director from 2022 to 2023.

- Participating as a member of the McCormick Student Advisory Board - External Relations Committee at McCormick School of Engineering from 2021 to present.

- Acting as the Social Media Lead for Be the Match at Northwestern University starting in 2023.

- Serving as the Marketing Director and Co-Programming Director for UNICEF at Northwestern University from 2023 to present, and from 2022 to 2023, respectively.

- Participating in the Blood Drive Committee at Northwestern University for the American Red Cross starting in 2021.

- Working as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Physical Therapy and Human Movement Sciences Lab at Northwestern University from 2022 to 2022.

- Gaining experience through a shadowing opportunity at Texas Children's Hospital in 2022, where they observed various medical procedures and learned about different bodily systems.

- Completing an internship as a STARS Intern at UT Southwestern Medical Center in 2020.

Jungmin Yean earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering & Global Health Studies from Northwestern University from 2021 to 2025. Prior to that, they received a High School Diploma, where they ranked as Salutatorian, from Greenhill School from 2017 to 2021. Additionally, Jungmin Yean obtained certifications in Biomedical Faculty/Investigators, Research Staff, or Administration Staff, Biomedical Research, and RCR Course for Undergraduate Students from the CITI Program in 2022 and 2023.
