Renee Mercer

Renee Mercer is an experienced educator in English language and literature, currently serving as an Instructor of English at Bethune-Cookman University since August 2018. Prior roles include Adjunct Professor at Florida State College of Jacksonville from March 2015 to August 2018 and Adjunct Instructor at the University of North Florida from August 2014 to July 2018. In addition, from 2011 to December 2015, Renee operated as an Independent Contractor providing individualized tutoring in English and essay writing, conducting over 3200 sessions tailored to diverse learning styles. Renee holds a Master's degree in English Language and Literature from the University of North Florida and a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature with a focus on Creative Writing from the University of Florida.
