Rich Pingel

Rich Pingel has extensive experience in the legal field, particularly in the sports and entertainment industry. Rich is currently the Head of Legal at BetMakers Technology Group, a role they took on in 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Legal Officer at Sportech from 2018 to 2021, where they were responsible for managing legal affairs globally and providing counsel to the company's directors and executives. Before that, they worked as the Vice President & General Counsel at Sportech, Inc., overseeing legal and compliance matters for the company's divisions and providing counsel to Sportech PLC. Rich Pingel began their career as an Attorney at Updike, Kelly & Spellacy, P.C. in 2006.

Rich Pingel earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a major in Entrepreneurship and Finance from the University of Arizona in 2000. Rich later pursued further education and obtained a Juris Doctorate from Quinnipiac University School of Law between 2004 and 2006. Additionally, they completed the Berger Entrepreneurship Program, receiving an equivalent to an MBA degree in 2000.
