Alex Petrocelli

Alex Petrocelli has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Currently, they are a Sportsbook Operations Team Lead at BetMGM, where they have been working since June 2022. Prior to this role, Alex served as a Sportsbook Operations Coordinator at BetMGM from February 2021 to June 2022.

Before joining BetMGM, Alex worked at FanDuel as part of the Customer Operations team from August 2020 to February 2021. They also gained coaching experience as the Head Lacrosse Coach for Commonwealth Kings Lacrosse Club in 2020 and as an Assistant Coach/Defensive Coordinator for DUNBAR LACROSSE BOOSTERS INC from November 2019 to June 2020.

In terms of writing, Alex served as a Contributing Writer for JPI Sports from November 2019 to May 2020, specializing in NBA, NCAA Basketball, and NFL coverage. They also interned at Breeders’ Cup Limited as a Customer Service Intern from January 2019 to June 2019, and at Thoroughbred Ideas Foundation as an Intern from April 2018 to January 2019.

From 2015 to 2019, Alex Petrocelli attended Transylvania University, focusing on writing, rhetoric, and communication.
