David Nunn

David Nunn is a seasoned biotechnology professional with extensive experience in scientific research, technology transfer, and commercialization. Currently serving as the Chief Scientific Officer and Scientific Advisory Board Member at Better Dairy, Nunn focuses on sustainable dairy production through precision fermentation. As the founder and principal consultant at Availa Consulting, Nunn provides expertise in various aspects of biotechnology and synthetic biology. Additionally, Nunn holds advisory roles at Cascade Biocatalysts, Prolacta Bioscience, and Biomatter, and has previously held senior positions at Conagen, BP Biofuels, and BASF. Nunn’s educational background includes a Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of Washington and multiple advanced training credentials from prominent institutions, including Harvard Business School Online.
