Michelle Laramie Lund has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Michelle Laramie has extensive experience in communications and sustainability, having served as the Executive Vice President of Communications & Sustainability at Better Energy since October 2019. Prior to that, they worked as the Communications & Human Capital Director at Better Energy from May 2017 to October 2019.

In addition to their roles at Better Energy, Michelle has also worked as a Communication Advisor at Global View from December 2016 to July 2017. Michelle Laramie has held positions at Easyfood A/S, where they served as the Chief Brand Officer from January 2016 to December 2016, and as a Communication Manager from September 2014 to December 2015. Michelle started their career as a Consultant and worked as a CSR and Communication Specialist from February 2014 to August 2014.

Before joining Easyfood A/S, Michelle worked at ECCO Sko A/S as a Communications Specialist from 2010 to January 2014. From 1999 to 2010, they owned their own consulting business, where they provided communication consulting and training services.

Early in their career, Michelle also gained experience as the owner of a book store in the retail chain Bøger og Papir from 2006 to 2008.

Michelle Laramie Lund began their education at the University of Virginia, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in French Language and Literature from 1984 to 1988. After completing their undergraduate studies, Michelle pursued further education by enrolling in the Thunderbird School of Global Management. There, they obtained an Executive Certificate in Global Corporate Social Responsibility in 2014. In 2013, Michelle also attended SAI to study the implementation of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. Additionally, they attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2011 to specialize in Crisis Management and Business Continuity.
