Lori Ward

Lori Ward is an experienced professional in external communications, partnership development, and community initiatives, currently serving as the Director of External Communications and Partnerships at Better Tomorrows since July 2019. In this role, Lori oversees partnership development, contributes to HUD-funded efforts, supports fund development, and shapes the organization's communication strategy. Previously, Lori held various roles at Better Tomorrows, including Associate Director of Project and Partnership Development, and Grants and Programs Manager. As the Founder and Director of Project STEAM Role, Lori focuses on encouraging girls of color to explore STEAM careers. Additional experience includes serving as a Community Development Specialist with Girl Scouts of Central and Southern NJ and holding management positions at organizations such as the Family Planning Council and the National Adoption Center. Lori holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from Drexel University.
