Shane Miller

Shane Miller has a diverse work experience in the field of product design, with a focus on user experience (UX) and human-computer interaction (HCI).

Shane is currently employed at BetterCloud as the Head of Product Design since November 2023. Prior to this, they were the Lead Product Designer at Upbound from October 2022 to November 2023.

Shane also has experience working at Labelbox, where they served as the Design Manager from January 2022 to October 2022, and as a Senior Product Designer from July 2021 to January 2022. Before that, they worked as a Senior Founding Designer at Rill Data from February 2020 to July 2021.

In addition, Shane has held positions at Ubiquiti Inc. as a UX Lead from April 2019 to February 2020, and as a Senior UX Designer from April 2018 to April 2019. Shane worked as a User Experience Designer at Subsplash® from April 2016 to April 2018.

Shane's early experience includes working as a Human-Computer Interaction Research Assistant at the University of Washington from March 2015 to January 2016, and as a UI/UX Design Intern at ACS Technologies from June 2015 to November 2015.

Shane Miller completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Informatics with a focus on Human-Computer Interaction & Information Architecture from the University of Washington between 2013 and 2017. In 2020, they received a Certificate in Leadership Principles from Harvard Business School Online. Before that, Shane attended Bellingham High School from 2009 to 2013, where they earned their High School diploma.
