Andrea Chen has a diverse work history in design, starting as a Classroom Assistant at the Experimental Education Unit in 2007. Andrea then moved on to roles like Design Review Intern at the City of Sacramento in 2010 and Web Design Assistant at UC Davis Department of Design in 2011. Chen then worked at the California Lighting Technology Center as an Outreach Intern and Assistant Illustrator from 2011 to 2012 before becoming a Graphic Designer at The Founder Institute until 2014. Following this, they worked as a Front End Designer at Pley from 2014 to 2016. Chen eventually joined BetterHelp, where they progressed from Designer to Director of Product Design, leading a team responsible for improving therapy experiences and company metrics through effective launches and harmonious working relationships.
Andrea Chen studied Pre-Architecture at the University of Washington from 2007 to 2009. Andrea then pursued a B.A. in Design and Psychology at the University of California, Davis from 2009 to 2011.
