Nuria Gonzalez-Garcia has a broad work experience, beginning in 2000 with practical training at Kern Pharma. In 2001, they completed practical training at Applus, followed by a Catalan government pre-doctoral research position in 2002. From 2007 to 2010, they were a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at the Fritz-Haber-Institut der Max-Planck-Gesellschaft, where they were responsible for the proposal preparation and research activity. In 2012, they took a parental leave and used this time to redirect their career into a new challenge. From 2015 to 2021, they were a Freelance, self-employed Innovation Consultant & Proposal Writer, a Public Funding Manager at NÜWIEL, and a Head of Research & Technology and Research Development Consultant at betteries. Throughout their career, they have acquired skills such as organisation & planning, patience, multitasking, ability to improvise, conflict resolution, teamwork and leadership, resource management, and proposal writing.

Nuria Gonzalez-Garcia received their Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 2001. Nuria then went on to earn their Master's Degree in Physical Chemistry from the same university in 2003. Finally, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Theoretical Chemistry from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 2006.
