Annalisa Oswald is an accomplished design leader with extensive experience in product design and user experience within the EdTech industry and academia. As Vice President of Design at BetterLesson since December 2013, Annalisa oversees product design and UX, mentoring a team of designers and managing collaborations with engineering to define strategic roadmaps and KPIs. In addition to this role, Annalisa serves as a User Experience Design Lead at the Rhode Island School of Design, where a focus on social entrepreneurship is combined with traditional design education. Annalisa's previous positions include Co-founder of the social enterprise MUXIPLY, Design Director at Redstar, and various roles at Rue La La, Allurent, Oracle, and Frictionless Commerce, showcasing a strong foundation in UX, graphic design, and creative direction. Annalisa holds a BFA in Drawing, Painting & Printmaking from The Ohio State University and further academic credentials from Harvard University.
