Matt Clements

Matt Clements is an Instructional Coach at BetterLesson, specializing in 1:1 coaching and professional development workshops since August 2019. Clements pursued a Certificate of Advanced Study in Counseling at Harvard University Graduate School of Education from August 2021 to May 2022, focusing on Adolescent Counseling. Prior experience includes serving as an Academic Tutor in the Redirect Program at Somerville High School and teaching US History I at Lawrence Public Schools. Clements holds a Master of Education in Prevention Science and Practice from Harvard, obtained in May 2020, and a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and Anthropology from Columbia University, completed in 2009. Prior roles also encompass various teaching and leadership positions, including ESL program coordination and tutoring at multiple educational institutions.
