Lily Gu, MEd, MEng, PCC has worked in various roles over the past two decades. In 1998, they began their career as a Technology Consultant for Sun Microsystems. Lily then moved to UBC Continuing Studies in 2005, where they worked as a Program Coordinator for multiple programs. In 2014, they became a Program Leader for Translation and Interpretation Programs at UBC Extended Learning. In 2019, Lily began working as an Associate Coach at The University of British Columbia. In 2020, they became a Partner Coach at Rosentall Coaching and a Founder and Professional Coach at LGU Journey. In 2021, they joined Sayge as a Professional Development Coach, and in 2022, they became a Founder at Amble Immigration Consulting Inc. and a Leadership Development Coach and Facilitator at BetterManager.
Lily Gu has an extensive educational background. Lily completed a Bachelor of Engineering and a Master of Engineering from the Beijing Institute of Technology in 2004 and 2006 respectively. In 2006, they obtained a Master of Education from the University of British Columbia in Adult Education. Lily then completed a Certificate in Intercultural Studies from the University of British Columbia in 2010, followed by a Certificate in Translation and Interpretation for Business (Chinese/English) in 2012. In 2018, they obtained a Certificate in Organizational Coaching from the University of British Columbia and then, in 2019, a Certificate in Immigration: Laws, Policies and Procedures (CILPP) program from the same university. Additionally, Lily Gu holds a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) certification from the International Coaching Federation obtained in 2022 and an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) certification from the same institution obtained in 2020.
