Anna Powell

Anna Powell, CFA, currently serves as Director of Strategy and Business Operations at Betterment, a position held since September 2022. Prior to this role, Anna held the title of Director of Global Operations & Customer Delivery at Shiftsmart from August 2021 to July 2022, and was Vice President of Financial Advisory at ICONIQ Capital from July 2019 to August 2021. At ICONIQ Capital, a firm specializing in financial advisory and family office services, Anna focused on technology growth equity, buyouts, and real estate. Earlier in their career, Anna spent five years at J.P. Morgan in various roles, including Investment Specialist and Global Investments Business Manager, where responsibilities included asset allocation analysis and project management for the global investment team. Anna holds a Bachelor of Science with Distinction in Commerce, concentrating in Finance and Accounting, from the University of Virginia.
