Mattias Verbeke

Mattias Verbeke is an experienced Data Engineer currently working at Bettermile and GLS eCom Lab GmbH since April and March 2022, respectively. Previously, Mattias served as a Senior Software Engineer at HERE navigation technologies from January 2011 to March 2022, specializing in geocoding, location search, and navigation map data while utilizing technologies such as Java 8, SQL, and Agile methodologies. Earlier career roles include software engineering positions at Onea, TINC associates, Indicta, Patrick Lemmens II, Marketing Map, the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences, and Tele Atlas, with a strong foundation in software development across various programming languages. Mattias holds multiple Master's degrees in Aquaculture, Oceanology, and Biology from Ghent University and the University of Liège.
