Matin E.

Matin E. has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Matin is currently working as a Product Lead at Bettermode, a position they started in September 2021. Prior to this, Matin worked at OpenText as a Sr. Product Manager from September 2019 to September 2021. In this role, they were involved in patent-related work. Before OpenText, Matin worked as a Product Manager at Loblaw Digital from December 2018 to September 2019.

Matin's experience also includes founding and serving as the CEO of Lumotune, a company specializing in see-through, daylight visible digital displays. Matin held this role from May 2013 to November 2018. Prior to Lumotune, Matin worked as an HIV Researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from September 2010 to April 2011. Here, they built a method for diagnosing HIV at early stages. Matin'scareer started as a Laser Researcher at the University of Toronto in May 2009, where they worked until August 2009.

Matin E. received their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Nanotechnology Engineering from the University of Waterloo, where they studied from 2008 to 2013. In addition to their formal education, Matin obtained several certifications in various fields. In October 2018, they completed the course "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization" from Coursera. They also obtained certifications in "Structuring Machine Learning Projects" and "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" from Coursera in October and September 2018, respectively.
