Bijoy Prasad Saha

Bijoy Prasad Saha has extensive experience in product design and user experience research. Bijoy is currently working at BetterPlace as the Lead Product Designer, where they lead the design team for mobile products that empower frontline workers in Asia. Bijoy's role involves enhancing workforce efficiency, retention, engagement, and productivity through impactful design solutions. Prior to this, they worked at MyGate as a Senior Product Designer, where they transformed the company's security app into a community-level solution. Bijoy also led MyGate's Ads monetization vertical and developed the Commerce and Home Services verticals from scratch. Before that, Bijoy was the UX Design Lead at Sulekha, where they redesigned the user app and developed a comprehensive product roadmap using a user-centered design approach. Bijoy also worked as a Design Researcher at Vihara Innovation Network, leading qualitative research and strategy design for a public healthcare project. Bijoy's experience also includes working as a User Experience Researcher at PharmEasy and as an Interaction Designer at Reflexions Digital Pvt. Ltd., where they worked on various design solutions across different platforms and industries. Before entering the industry, Bijoy founded Tune Health as part of their master's thesis, where they designed and developed a wearable device for women with urinary incontinence. Bijoy also gained experience as a Product Design Intern at Fabindia Overseas Pvt Ltd and as a Lifestyle Accessory Designer at D2 International.

Bijoy Prasad Saha completed their education with the following qualifications:

- Master of Design in Apparel Design from the National Institute of Design, from 2014 to 2017.

- Bachelor of Arts in History from Jadavpur University, from 2008 to 2011.

- Pre-Degree in Humanities from Visva Bharati, Shantiniketan, from 2005 to 2007.

Bijoy also obtained certification from the World Of WearableArt Ltd, specifically in the Weta Workshop Costume & Film section: Other Worlds in 2015.
