Violet Replicon has held a variety of roles in the technology industry. In 2012, they began their career as a STEM Instructor at Learningtech.org [The Miller Institute for Learning with Technology]. In 2014, they were a Software Intern at Apple. In 2017, they were an Astrophysics Intern at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. In 2018, they were a Robotics Program Coordinator at Crystal Springs Uplands School. In 2019, they completed a Full Stack Engineering Apprenticeship at Bloc, where they learned HTML, CSS, Javascript, SQL, and associated frameworks (such as Node. js, React, jQuery, and PostgreSQL). Violet designed mobile-first full-stack applications from conception to deployment, while learning industry best practices. Notable projects included Quilt Calc (React, Node, Express, and PostgreSQL) and Gear Closet (React, Node, Express, and PostgreSQL). Currently, they are a Software Engineer at Bevy (bevy.com).
Violet Replicon received a Bachelor's degree in Astrophysics from The University of New Mexico in 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Physics from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology between 2013 and 2017.
