John Turack has extensive experience in law enforcement and technology implementation, currently serving as a Sergeant at the Bexar County Sheriff's Office since December 2004. Responsibilities include Systems Operations Administrator and project team supervisor for various law enforcement technology projects, as well as roles in investigations spanning general, night crimes, violent crimes, and traffic homicide. Prior to this, John held positions as a Correctional Officer at The GEO Group, Inc., and served as a Lance Corporal in the United States Marine Corps in Crash Fire Rescue. Academically, John is pursuing a Master of Laws in Public Cybersecurity Law at St. Mary's University School of Law, complemented by a Juris Doctor degree, alongside a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and a Master's program in Criminal Justice and Criminology.
