Josef Shafer

Josef Shafer is an accomplished broadcast engineer with extensive experience in video engineering and technical advice. As the owner of Shafer Camera, LLC since January 2014, Josef provides specialized broadcast engineering services. Additionally, Josef holds video engineer positions at NBC Sports and the United Nations, while also serving as a video engineer at Bexel since March 2005. Josef has contributed as an EIC for CHOPPED Seasons 16-24 at Notional and recently worked as a studio engineer for NEP Group, Inc. from January to September 2023. Previous roles include video engineering at Big Fish Entertainment and Jane Street Productions. Josef earned a Bachelor of Arts in Film/Cinema/Video Studies from Hampshire College and attended The Gailer School at Middlebury.
