Giora Davidai has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Giora began their career at GlaxoWelcome in 1990, where they held the positions of Head of Bone Research (R&D) and Global Head of Migraine and Headache (MA) until 1998. Giora then joined Boehringer-Ingelheim in 2010 as an Executive Director. From 2017 onwards, they held various roles including Chief Medical Officer at AIT Bioscience, AIT Therapeutics Inc, AIT-Pharma, and MedAwre.
Giora Davidai began their education in 1974 at the Sackler School of Medicine, Tel Aviv University, where they earned their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. Giora then pursued a residency in the Pediatrics Residency Program at Haifa Medical Center in Haifa, Israel from 1980 to 1984, becoming board certified in the field. Following this, from 1984 to 1986, Davidai completed a fellowship in the Nephrology Residency Program at Rambam Medical Center, also located in Haifa, Israel. Finally, they attended Duke University from 1986 to 1990, where they completed a residency in Pediatric Nephrology and served as junior faculty.
