Joan Daugherty

Joan Daugherty is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in grant writing, marketing, and communications, currently serving as the Coordinator for Foundation & Government Giving at Chicago Botanic Garden since April 2019. Joan also holds the position of Social Media Specialist at Beyond AUM since February 2023. Previously, Joan contributed to historical and environmental education at Glenview Park District, worked as the Director of Marketing and Communications at Roycemore School, and owned artisan, ink, specializing in desktop design and marketing consulting. Early career experience includes serving as Advertising Services Coordinator at Bank One, where responsibilities encompassed managing advertising processes and compliance. Joan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Northeastern Illinois University after completing studies at Central Washington University and Portland State University.
