Yvonne Costello

Yvonne Costello, M.S. is an experienced education professional with a comprehensive background in coaching and teaching. Currently serving as an Executive Function Coach at Beyond BookSmart since September 2022, Yvonne effectively utilizes the Trans-Theoretical Model to personalize coaching plans that promote Executive Function skill development. Prior experience includes a position as a Middle/High School Teacher at Gateway Academy, where engaging lessons contributed to a 70% increase in student performance within a semester. Yvonne spent over two decades with NYC DOE as a Special Educator for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, managing IEPs and enhancing reading comprehension outcomes significantly. Additionally, Yvonne holds a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from Florida Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Special Education from Hunter College.
