Maricel Coates

Maricel "Maz" Coates is a seasoned product development and sample manager with extensive experience in the apparel and accessories industry. Currently at Beyond Yoga since January 2018, Maricel oversees product development and sample processes. Prior roles include product development manager positions at TravisMathew Apparel and lululemon athletica, where Maricel led teams and fostered premium product creation. Earlier experience at Oakley, Inc. involved managing Men's and Women's Surf/Swim products and mentoring teams. Maricel's career commenced at Speedo International Limited as a product manager, and subsequent roles at Warnaco Swimwear Group included director positions focusing on international product development and performance swim. Maricel holds an education from FIDM, enhancing an already robust skill set in market analysis, vendor negotiations, and product lifecycle management.
