Dr. Heidi Edmonds is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in climate solutions research, advocacy, and community resilience. As a Senior Researcher and Project Manager at Beyond Zero Emissions since April 2020, Dr. Edmonds has led significant projects, including the Communities Lens for the Million Jobs Plan. Currently serving on the Industry Advisory Board of the Creative Arts Research Institute at Griffith University since June 2023, Dr. Edmonds also provides freelance expertise through ClimateKISS and co-founded Australian Parents for Climate Action, where strategic coordination and communication development were pivotal. A background in music production complements Dr. Edmonds' technical expertise, leveraged through previous roles in environmental analysis and project management at various organizations. Dr. Edmonds holds a PhD in Urban Freshwater Ecology from Griffith University, adding a strong academic foundation to an impressive career.
