Jan Gilboy leads Beyond 12’s sales and marketing teams as chief sales officer. Her role is focused on developing and sustaining strong partnerships with colleges and universities, specifically focusing on low-income, first-generation under-represented students to help them graduate.

Jan is a mission-driven sales leader with over 20 years experience in the education space. She is a first-generation college student who started her career in college publishing and successfully pivoted to sales and sales management with such companies as The New York Times, Turnitin, and Roadtrip Nation. She has sold a variety of SaaS products, Apps, and professional services serving a cross-section in education, CTE and workforce development. A strong believer in education as the most important tool to change one’s life, Jan has developed partnerships with community colleges and universities as well as systems/consortia in the US and Canada. Outside of work, Jan enjoys travel and hiking, and is a passionate supporter of the Alzheimer’s Association. Jan resides outside of Denver with her three dogs and son, and holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Hunter College in New York City.
