Katherine Zepeda

Katherine is chief of staff to the CEO at Beyond 12. In her role, she supports the CEO and Beyond 12 team in advancing special projects and strategic efforts. As a recipient of multiple college access, success, and scholarship support services, Katherine has dedicated her career to ensuring that college is not only accessible to first-generation, underrepresented minorities but that it promotes persistence, graduation, and a pathway to a career. Before joining Beyond 12 in 2013, Katherine worked and interned at East Bay Sanctuary Covenant, College Track, and Glide Memorial Foundation and was involved in research and leadership groups aimed at promoting higher education for first-generation students. Katherine graduated from UC Berkeley in 2013 with a BA in social welfare and she is currently pursuing her MBA at UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business.
